Jelmer Boskma

ABOUT

Jelmer Boskma is an Emmy and VES Award–nominated Visual Effects Supervisor and Art Director with a passion for cinematic storytelling and visual worldbuilding. He currently serves as a Visual Effects Supervisor at DNEG, where he leads the creative and technical execution of visual effects from pre-production through final delivery, including on-set supervision.

A graduate of Vancouver Film School, Jelmer began his career in digital sculpting and creature design, later expanding into matte painting, concept art, and art direction. This multidisciplinary background enables him to collaborate seamlessly across departments, bringing a cohesive and artistic vision to every project.

His recent credits include Murderbot, Star Wars: Andor, Marvel’s Eternals, Ant-Man & the Wasp, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Jelmer is a member of the Visual Effects Society and has been recognized with nominations for both a Primetime Emmy Award and a VES Award for his contributions to the field.
